Increased Fuel Taxes for Texas Haulers?


The Texas Comptroller's office published an article this month discussing a possible increase in taxes for motor vehicle fuel.


As more cars go electric, tax revenue generated by fuel taxes goes down, says the article. These taxes are allegedly used to build our roads. Texas populations continue to skyrocket and in so doing, road usage does as well.


Will transportation and local hauling businesses face increased costs in the near future?

If so, their customers may see an increase in costs for their services, unless these companies find ways to absorb the expense without passing them on to valued customers. Read more Here.
